Cola Marion is a musician, recording artist, songwriter, producer, and creative professional with decades of experience spanning music, live performance, recording, and entertainment. She is the Founder and CEO of Music Makers Academy, where she draws on a lifetime of practical experience to introduce aspiring musicians to the fundamentals of songwriting, music production, recording, and independent music creation.

Cola's musical career began at an early age. She started making music at seven and recorded her first single by age nine, the same year she performed at halftime for the Orlando Magic and played the role of Kayla on Dooley and Pals. Her early professional experience included television and live entertainment, giving her firsthand exposure to performance and the creative industry from childhood.

Throughout her career, Cola has continued developing her musicianship across multiple disciplines. A largely self-taught musician, she reads music and plays piano, guitar, and harmonica. Her technical experience includes songwriting, arranging, recording, vocal production, music production, mixing, and mastering, with experience working in digital audio workstations including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and Pro Tools.

Under the artist name C.K. Marion, Cola has built an extensive independent catalog of albums, EPs, and singles spanning more than a decade. In 2018, she founded Joint Records Inc., through which she released her own work and collaborated with other independent artists. Her professional music experience also includes live performance, DJ/MC work, and sync licensing and placement.

Cola founded Music Makers Academy to make practical music education more accessible to people who may not have had access to traditional lessons, expensive equipment, or formal music training. Having developed much of her own skill set through independent study, experimentation, and years of hands-on experience, she understands both the challenges and the possibilities of learning music outside a traditional conservatory environment.

That perspective shapes the Academy's approach to education. Students don't simply learn what to do—they learn why it works and how to continue doing it independently. Cola's goal is to provide students with a strong creative and technical foundation while encouraging experimentation, problem-solving, and the confidence to develop their own artistic voice.
